Bring your Jellycat to life in clay!
Join us for a fun and relaxed 2-hour workshop where you’ll sculpt your very own Jellycat-inspired character in clay.
Bring your real Jellycat along for inspiration, then recreate it in clay before adding colour and details with underglazes to make it truly your own.
No pottery experience is needed. Your clay, materials, underglazes, glazing and firing are all included. Your finished piece will be ready to collect approximately 3–4 weeks after the workshop.
Workshop staff are DBS checked.
What to bring
Bring your favourite Jellycat to use as inspiration, and wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little clay on. If you don’t have a Jellycat, you can still join in and create your own Jellycat-inspired character.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Henfield Pottery for Jellycat in Clay.
Please bring along your favourite Jellycat to use as inspiration. We’ll be looking closely at its shapes, details and personality before recreating it in clay. If you don’t have a Jellycat, don’t worry — you can still join in and create your own character.
Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little clay on. Clay generally washes out easily, but pottery can get messy!
Everything you need for the workshop is provided, including clay, tools and underglazes.
Your clay creation will stay with us after the workshop so that we can carefully dry, glaze and fire it. Finished pieces will be ready to collect from Henfield Pottery approximately 3–4 weeks later, and we’ll contact you when yours is ready.
If you have any accessibility requirements or anything else that would help us make your visit comfortable, please let us know before the workshop.
Most importantly: bring your Jellycat, your imagination and get ready to get muddy!
