'Picture This' is a programme of 2 day creative workshops for 11-14 year olds running in Libraries throughout Shropshire during the 2016 school summer break.
Taking the theme of 'illustration' each two day set of workshops will be run in local libraries by professional artists from Ignition Arts and Scrappies (Shropshire Children and Young People's Recycling Store.) Participants will be able to take part in a wide range of creative activities such as set building, visual arts and drama. This will lead to a sharing of work which parents and carers can attend.
Work made during the programme will form an exhibition at Oswestry Library in September 2016. The exhibition will then tour library venues through the Autumn.
'Picture This' is a partnership project funded by Arts Council England.
