A four-week programme for primary aged children children in the High Peak, using animal-assisted activities to explore emotions, confidence and wellbeing. Participants will learn simple ways to recognise and manage difficult feelings, understand personal boundaries, build trust and empathy, and feel more confident asking for help. The sessions will take place at our centre in Broadbottom and are fully funded for eligible High Peak residents.

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of the session. Children and young people should wear comfortable clothing and suitable, closed-toe footwear as sessions will take place around animals. Please bring a coat appropriate for the weather, as some activities may take place outdoors.
All sessions are fully funded and are for children and young people living in the High Peak.
