Course Schedule

Day 1 – Tube Set Ring: Craft your own silver ring and set a faceted stone using a classic tube setting technique.

• Introduction to tools and safety
• Shaping and soldering your silver ring
• Creating a tube setting for a faceted stone
• Setting and polishing

Day 2 – Cabochon Pendant: Create a pendant featuring a cabochon stone in a traditional rub-over setting.

• Forming and soldering a bezel setting

• Finishing
• Guidance on setting up a home jewellery workshop: Learn how to set up a home workshop to suit all types of budget.

On completion of this course you should have a solid foundation in jewellery making techniques and learn how to use all the necessary tools to enable you to create beautiful jewellery pieces from home.
