A morning of gentle yoga, mindfulness and sense-based drawing

Join us for a nurturing morning that helps you find your creative flow through breathwork, nourishing movement and sense-based drawing…where your brain gets a break from constant thinking or worrying.
A creative form of meditation, helping your attention shift to the here and now.
You don’t need to be “into yoga” or be able “to draw”. This is about awareness. Your wellbeing. A non-judgemental space to allow your body and mind to just be.
YOUR MORNING BREAKDOWN…
9.30: We’ll start with a guided meditation and breathwork with Lottie to help our minds and bodies feel more calm. We then move through some gentle yoga postures to create a little more space in our bodies. Think nourishing, slow and steady movement.
10:30: We’ll fuel our bodies well with some delicious lemon & coconut balls and cinnamon & cacao cookies from Ames Bakes. Plus hydrate with a warming hot or cold drink, all whilst connecting with others in the beautiful studio @The Space at 2A
11:00: Guided by Melissa, together we will explore mindful sense-based drawing activities with a focus on intuitive mark making and observation. The emphasis is on the process, not the outcome. Materials will be provided - if you wish to bring a natural object to respond to you are welcome to
12:00: We’ll leave feeling a little bit softer, relaxed and inspired

Melissa is a visual artist and educator based in Malmesbury. She is passionate about sharing the benefits of art with others to enhance emotional wellbeing, anchor to the present moment and find joy & vitality through creative expression.

Lottie is a Malmesbury-based yoga teacher with over 10 years+ experience. Her teaching style is welcoming and deeply supportive - rooted in appreciation for evidence-based movement and conscious breathwork that help you feel connected with your body and calmer in your mind.
