Wild Workshop: Macrophyte Identification Course, Cossington Meadows / The Old Mill

Join Chris Hill, Conservation Officer and reserve warden at Cossington Meadows to identify and collect some of the commoner marginal aquatic plants growing in or around the wetland habitats. The morning will be spent on site viewing specimens and in the afternoon we will examine what we have collected back at the Trust office in Leicester. Please bring appropriate footwear, a packed lunch and something for taking notes, (hot drinks provided in the afternoon session). There may be an option for a limited number of attendees to meet at The Old Mill at 9.30 am if preferred, (please indicate when booking).
