Worried about vet visits, nail trims, or grooming struggles? Our Co-operative Care classes are here to help you and your dog feel relaxed and ready for life’s essential handling moments — all without force, fear, or stress.
This is a friendly, force-free 4-week course running for 1 hour each week, with small groups of no more than 6 dogs to keep things calm and personalised.
✨ What we’ll cover:
Teaching your dog to say “I’m ready” or “not yet” using gentle consent cues
Building trust for handling paws, ears, mouths, and more
Introducing tools like brushes, nail clippers, and vet equipment at your dog’s pace
Creating positive experiences for vet and grooming visits
Learning how to spot your dog’s subtle body language and comfort levels
Each 4-week block will focus on different skills, so you’re welcome to book again and keep building your dog’s confidence. Before the course starts, I’ll always check in with you to see what specific areas you’d like help with, so we can tailor the sessions to your dog’s needs.
