Games Club 4.30am Tuesday

Canine Games Club is all about having fun with your dog while building useful everyday skills through simple, practical games.

For the winter months, each session is limited to just three dogs. This means we can make the most of the outdoors when the weather is good, but we also have plenty of room to move into the cosy training bothy when we'd rather be warm and dry!

You don't all have to make the same choice either. If your dog is happiest working outside, that's absolutely fine. If you'd prefer to be inside by the fire, you can. We can use the bothy, the old stable areas and the space immediately outside, so each dog and owner can work where they're most comfortable.

Each week we'll play different games designed to:

🐾 Develop recall and loose lead skills
🐾 Encourage calmness and self-control
🐾 Build confidence and problem-solving skills
🐾 Strengthen the connection between you and your dog
🐾 Give you plenty of ideas to continue playing at home

The emphasis is always on having fun together, rather than formal obedience. The games can be adapted to suit different dogs and different owners, so you don't need to be super-fit, have a perfectly trained dog or be able to keep up with everyone else.

Canine Games Club is suitable for dogs of all ages, from puppies and adolescents through to older dogs. You don't need to have a particular training problem to join us – you might simply be looking for something enjoyable to do together during the winter months.

Winter doesn't have to mean standing in a dark field trying to learn something while everyone gets cold and soggy!

Come along, play some games, learn something useful and enjoy spending time with your dog – with the option of a warm bothy and a fire when the Scottish weather inevitably has other ideas.

Cancellation Policy for In-Person Courses

We understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected changes our way. To be fair to all participants and to ensure the smooth running of our courses, please note the following cancellation terms:

More than 14 days before the course start date: You will receive a full refund or can transfer your booking to a future course, subject to availability.

7–14 days before the course start date: You can transfer your booking to a future course, subject to availability, or receive a 50% refund.

Less than 7 days before the course start date: Unfortunately, no refunds or transfers will be offered, as it is unlikely we will be able to fill your space at short notice.

Non-attendance: If you miss a session or fail to attend without notice, no refund or transfer will be given.

If your dog becomes unwell or there is an emergency, please get in touch as soon as possible. We will always do our best to work with you where circumstances allow.

All cancellations must be made in writing by email.
