This class explores playful, collaborative partner movement with a gentle martial arts twist. Working between contact improvisation and martial-inspired games, we’ll investigate balance, momentum, rebound, support, redirection and shared instability — not as fixed techniques, but as invitations for discovery. Through solo warm-up, subtle partner tasks, weight-sharing and dynamic physical enquiry, we’ll discover how falling, forces and changing points of contact can become creative material for dancing together.
