Come along to this 1 hour Introduction to Mindfulness session with Alison Jones where you can learn more, have a go and go home with a few different, easy practices you can start using straight away.
Have you ever been driving and arrived at your destination with no recollection of your journey at all? Have you picked up a cup of tea to have a drink and realized it's all gone and you haven’t tasted any of it? We’ve been on Autopilot. It happens a lot doesn't it? Mindfulness is the opposite of this. It is a way of learning to be more present and aware.
Mindfulness enables us to develop our natural capacity for awareness and to notice without judging more of the thoughts, feelings and physical sensations that make up our lives day by day.
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:
Please wear comfortable clothing so that you can sit comfortably.
Make sure you bring any Medication you may need. (eg Inhaler if Asthmatic).
Please bring a mask or face covering to wear as you arrive. leave and any time you are off your mat. (We do not wear masks for our practice.)
Please bring water in a Re-usable Bottle of water.
We politely request NO SINGLE-USE PLASTICS in the Yoga Room.
WHERE TO COME:
Please park on the second level of the car park and come in through the Hayloft Restaurant entrance. If you want to go to the Farm Shop, before or after class, there are stairs and a lift to the second level in the building. There are 4 Disabled Parking spots, two on the first level and two on the second.
