Sing, Feel, Move, Play is a course for 2.5-4 year olds.
Rooted in Edward Gordons music learning Theory, we will explore original and some well-known English songs through musical games, movement and instruments. The classes are child led and I follow their lead closely.
My aim is to nurture every child's musical potential, creating an environment and games which support the development of their psychomotoric, expressive, cognitive and social skills. My aim is to support them, not just in musical but their personal growth. To enable this, the class size is restricted to 7 children with their accompanying adults.
The children are free to move, explore, and engage with the musical environment at their own pace.
Together we will start working on coordination. Particularly the coordination of the voice with movement, and voice with the playing of instruments. This is a vital step and one which is very important especially in the learning of instruments later.
The classes are playful and involve the children's creativity, nurturing each child's musical potential. It's a non pressured, but structured environment supporting the children to find, explore and play with their own musical voice.
This is not specifically an English learning class. It is a music class where the instructional language is simple English.
To ensure smooth running of sessions, I'd be very grateful that you read and follow the following rules:
The studio is located in a building which is a home to many. Please be respectful of noise coming in and out of the property- especially in the shared spaces like the Hall. You are responsible for your child and their behavior in the hallway.
No pushchairs/ scooters etc can be left outside in the hallway- they can be put to one side of the entrance room or in the little room on the left.
Opposite near Mediamarkt is a space to chain up bikes.
The Music room itself is a shoe free zone. Please remove and store outdoor shoes in the appropriate area.
If you'd like to bring another person to the class, please ask. Whether it is possible or not, is dependent on availability and space.

This ticket is valid for the 10 sessions of the Winter term ( 9th January-20 March). Incase of the course leaders illness, a make up session will be held on the 27th March. Missed classes cannot be refunded. Added bonuses: 10% Sibling discount

2 Trial classes
For new Families only! Participants are required to attend the trial lessons for two consecutive weeks. This is important for the child's integration and allows me to assess if the group is the right fit. In case of absences, the classes are non-refundable. I reserve the right to cancel the class due to unforeseen circumstances. But should that be the case, I will try and get in contact with you as soon as possible and your booking will be automatically valid in the following week.
