🧚♀️ Flower Fairies & Old Woodland Stories
An imaginative family nature session inspired by spring folklore
Step into a world of stories and imagination at Staunton Harold, with this gentle family session inspired by the Flower Fairy Trail.
Families will explore woodland folklore and springtime stories, imagining the tiny guardians of flowers and trees who feature in traditional tales. Through creative play, nature crafts and quiet exploration, children are invited to create fairy doors or woodland homes, listen to old stories and discover the landscape in a respectful, playful way.
This is a calm, inclusive session designed for families who enjoy imaginative play, storytelling and connecting with nature at their own pace. All activities are optional, with plenty of choice and space to explore or simply observe.
Maximum 4 people per family (no more than 2 adults).
A minimum of 10 people are required for this session to go ahead.
There is a small parking fee payable for Staunton Harold Reservoir. This parking charge enables National Trust to continue to conserve this wonderful natural space.
Participants will be met in the public car park at Staunton Harold Reservoir.
These sessions will involve an element of slow walking and then sitting to complete the creative aspect.
All materials will be provided.
