Yin yoga is also referred to as slow yoga. This is a gentle class holding each pose for a longer period to help stretch the connective tissue in the body, and to release stresses in both mind and body. Yin yoga helps to improve flexibility and is the perfect compliment to a dynamic practice. This class can help aid recovery after injury (always seek medical advice before returning to exercise after injury). Suitable for all abilities. This class incorporates TCM (traditional Chinese medicine), the seasons of the year and the chakras.
This class is held in the Quimperle room at the public hall.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the class start time.
Equipment required: Yoga mat, blocks and a bolster if you have one. I do have limited equipment for people to use.
Please wear comfortable clothing.
