To celebrate our relatively new Brigid's Day Public Holiday, we will gather together for an Imbolc celebration, in the lovely Kilbarron Hall, Co. Tipperary, to celebrate our renewal this Spring.
The 5Rhythms practice is a wonderful way to come together in community with other people, to express your unique self in movement and to show up for your body, mind, heart and soul.
A good tonic for the self as Spring begins, and the days are starting to lengthen.
5Rhythms movement is from 11am to 1pm.
Followed by an optional 1 hour of delicious Sauna with Manini from Lakeside Sauna, just down the road, exactly 5km, at Skehanagh, Lough Derg.
Sauna runs from 2pm to 3pm. Block booked out for our group (this is optional)
There will be time from 1pm to 2pm to have a shared lunch together in the hall.
The 5Rhythms is a creative, free yet disciplined practice, that will take you out of your head and into your body.
Healing, connecting, awakening, increasing your self-awareness. Your body if it is given the opportunity and space, will know what it needs and how it wants to dance.
Jenny has been moving with this practice for the past 25 years. She found her way into a class in Galway in June 2000 and she trained with the founder, Gabrielle Roth and The Moving Centre in 2007.
She continues to dance regularly for her own enjoyment and exploration. She holds a monthly class in Limerick City and quarterly in Galway City.
She lives in Cloughjordan with her family. She is also a Creative Studies and Community Mental Health lecturer in Applied Social Studies in Carlow College and is very experienced in holding groups.
Bring a water bottle, and wear layers of clothing.
Bringing a mat/blanket, it can be nice to wrap up warm and rest.
Please arrive on time so that we can all begin together.
There's plenty of parking beside the hall.
Dance is 11am to 1pm
Sauna runs from 2pm to 3pm.
There will be time from 1pm to 2pm to have a shared lunch together in the hall.
It really is best to have a snack and a warm drink in between dance and sauna. I will bring flasks of hot water, and herbal teas, so bring a reusable cup to use for yourself.

The hall has been renovated, so the image on google maps is not the correct one, but the Hall is beside the car-park in the centre of the village.
