Details

The Agility Intro course is great for everyone who just wants to try Agility with their dog. Jumps, tunnels and some of the contact equipment like a dog walk will be the obstacles your dog will introduced to in this course. You will also learn some handling basics and run your first course.
This course is heaps of fun and will also improve teamwork between you and your dog. Agility helps to build the dog's confidence and is physically as well as mentally challenging.

This course is for all dogs from 10 months of age.

  • Please note: you will signing up for the full course and the dates as listed. Partial bookings are not available this course. You might check out our intro agility workshops instead.

The course venue is all fenced and no previous training or agility experience is required.

The course is run by our certified dog trainer who on top of her NDTF Dog Training & Behaviour certification is also active member and instructor at the ADC (Agility Dog Club of NSW). Our Agility trainers are active competitors in this sport, competing on Masters and excellent level with their own dogs.

Instructions

We aim to provide a fun but also safe environment for you and your dog to learn.
Please note:

  • Two adult people per dog are allowed to attend the class. If you like an underage person to attend as dog handler, we request to contact as before booking in.
  • Dogs are required to have their C5 vaccination up to date.
  • If your dog has reactivity issues towards dogs or people, please let us know before your booking. Slight reactivity issues are usually not a problem. However this is a group class and we want your dog to feel safe enough to learn. ​- The venue is an outdoor location with undercover option and most of the time training sessions will be held if there is rain. However if it's required to cancel a class due to bad weather conditions, the class will be rescheduled to an alternative date (likely to be the following week instead). Cancellations will generally announced 1 hours before the class.
