You must have passed your Pre-Entry ORT (Gun Oil) to enter this trial!

This trial includes:

  • An Exterior Search
  • An Interior Search
  • A Vehicle Search
  • Selection Test

Dog must be over 9 months old to enter this trial

Instructions

You will need:

  • Food Reward: LOTS of small high-value rewards for dog (ie. chopped cheese, beef, hotdogs, chicken)
  • Harness and/or collar: a harness is preferable although dogs can be worked on collar/lead
  • Lead: Please ensure you bring a clip lead for your dog
  • Water: You will need to bring water for you and your dog alongside a dog bowl
  • Your dog: Don't feed your dog a large meal beforehand, we need them to be hungry (but not starving)

IMPORTANT:

(1) Please DO NOT interact with other dogs/ allow your dog to interact with other dogs as they may need space; some of the dogs attending may be reactive or scared (always ask the owner beforehand)

(2) Dogs will trial one at a time, therefore you are required to keep your dog in your vehicle when you are not trailing

(3) Please ensure if you are letting your dog out to toilet that you keep your dog on lead at ALL times, that you keep a safe distance from other handlers and their dogs and you only let them toilet in designated places.
