Details

Being held in the Scottish Borders for the first time and this is also the ONLY time Kathryn will be traveling for workshops in 2026!

Join Kevin (KMK9) and Kathryn (Trailing K9s) who are both experienced and qualified in both Mantrailing and Tracking, we welcome you to Trailing Mechanics a full three days of up skilling you as a TEAM, learning new skills that will enhance your Trailing journey.

Over the three full days you will be working on things such as Scent Matching, Indication work, Trailing skills and much more. This does mean that there will be some indoor work with the dogs.

This is not a workshop if you are looking for lots of Trails, this is a workshop to work through the technical side of Trailing. Throughout this workshop we will be breaking down components to really help you and your dog understand what we are trying to achieve.

We are looking for people who want to learn and be pushed on this workshop.

We are not providing lunch or dinner on this workshop but some snacks will be provided, we MAY go out one evening for a meal at your own cost.

This workshop will only be run once in 2026 so booked now to secure your limited spot.

Please note: we would recommend that you work one dog over this workshop to benefit the most. This workshop is best suited to more established Trailing teams.

*Please note that if you have singed up to "The KMK9 Trailing Course" or "Human ID Scent Tracking for Civilian Dogs (Taught by K9 IlMa Global Human ID Tacking) then you are already going to be covering what this workshop offers in more detail.

Workshop is limited to just 12 handler spots. Total handler cost is £390.
