This 4 day leader course introduces the Scandinavian early years pedagogy Skogsmulle and combines it with an accredited Forest Kindergarten Level 3, for an experiential learning methodology for children aged 0-7 years.
Skogsmulle facilitates play focused development by providing learning activities in the outdoors that stimulate children’s imagination to enhance physical, mental and social development.
A growing body of academic research has highlighted the need for children to have opportunities to participate in play as a means of building a strong foundation for formal learning later on in life – Skogsmulle is a proven means of achieving this.

TRAINING DAYS:
You will need to be dressed appropriately for the outdoors as this course will take place entirely outdoors.
There is free parking in the visitor centre car park.
You will need to bring a notebook, pen and lunch with you. There is also a cafe 2 minutes from the site if you would like to purchase lunch there. Teas, coffees and hot chocolates will be provided throughout the course. Please bring a mug/cup.
During observation days of our Skogsmulle sessions, a list of allergy items to avoid bringing will be provided.
