Join us for a chilled afterschool session outdoors in nature at our Forest School Youth Club for ages 11yrs+
Each session will explore different awesome activities that will be engaging
24 Aug- Animal Husbandry (Goats, chickens, honey bees, ducks & ducklings)
31 Aug- Wildlife Camera installation and badger sett survey
7 Sept- Tree ID and Woodland Conservation
14 Sept- Whittling & Woodcarving
28 Sept- Fire Lighting & Campfire Cooking
5 Oct- Stone Carving
This is one of 6 sessions. You can book individual sessions or all six. We encourage early booking as spaces are limited to 8 maximum. For those that attend all 6 sessions they will achieve the Royal Forestry Society's Junior Foresters Award.
We kindly ask that if you can no longer make the session you let us know within 48 hours before the session so we can offer your space to those on our waiting list.
Please note we cannot provide 1:1 support for children that may need it, please contact us on hello@little-acorns.org if you’d like to discuss further.
Suitable outdoor clothing - Sturdy shoes, warm layers, hats and gloves in cold weather; sun hats and sun protection in warm weather.
We always keep a close eye on weather conditions. We will always try to give 24 hours notice of closure, however we may need to cancel on the day if weather changes suddenly / overnight. We will inform parents by text and email. In the case of cancellation we endeavour to reschedule sessions in the first instance. If this cannot be done, we offer a refund minus 10% to cover administration.
