I am an experienced multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, clarinet and piano. I have been a clarinetist in concert bands and ensembles beginning at the age of 11 and at the age of 17 began my first tutoring business. I began teaching children to play clarinet and guitar while also working with adults for rehabilitation teaching the clarinet.I became an early childhood educator at the age of 20 and have now worked in the Early Childhood industry for over 10 years, holding my Diploma of Children’s Services (Early Childhood Education and Care). In 2015 I first began implementing a music curriculum for 6 week to 5-year-olds while also working as the educational leader at my early learning service. This experience reinforced my belief that all children should have the opportunity to engage in quality music education in the early years. I decided to create my own music program to support early childhood development through active engagement and exposure to a variety of musical instruments and concepts which will set children up to be lifelong learners. I am also a mum to three children aged 7, 5 & 2 who have a vital role in ensuring all aspects of my curriculum are engaging and fun!
