Details

An experiential workshop exploring the energetic of food through the element of Wood.

Spring is characterised by the element of Wood in the Daoist belief system. From Winters introspection, Spring moves in to symbolize new beginnings, growth, dreams and plans.

We will explore through hands on and demonstrations:
Ferments; including a simple 3 ingredient Italian flatbread, a soft ‘cheese’ like ferment made with cashew nuts

Green & sour flavours; wild garlic soda bread, wild garlic & ‘wasted’ leaf pesto, homemade lemon barley water and a soup and salad using the leftover barley.

Also a customisable base recipe for energy balls to lift your spring energy 🌿

We will lunch on the fruits of our labours and everyone will leave with a handout of the day and the recipes.

Cost of workshop £40 including all food
