"Wee Yogis" a class designed specifically for toddlers, preschoolers, young children and their parents/carers to share the magic of the mat. I am so excited to have launched this and I hope that you will come and join us!
The class is suitable for confident walkers aged 12 months and onwards up to 8 years and it's going to be so much fun. Younger and older children are welcome to come along too, please message me to discuss.
Yoga is beneficial for toddlers and preschoolers as it promotes physical development, body awareness, concentration, emotional regulation, self-confidence, social skills, and the mind-body connection. Through yoga, young children improve their flexibility, strength, and coordination. They learn to be more aware of their bodies and develop better posture and spatial awareness. Yoga activities enhance concentration and teach calming techniques for stress and emotions. By mastering new poses, children gain confidence and self-esteem. Yoga classes foster social interaction, teamwork, and empathy. Ultimately, yoga offers a holistic approach to early childhood development, benefiting their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Our sessions are fun and lively and will include yoga, mindfulness, art activities and snacks.
