Age 6-12
In this workshop we will look at artists who use popular culture in their work, in particular iconic images of food. We will explore reduction printmaking techniques and layering to produce multiple colour prints of fast food.
Leading up to this we will also do some observational drawing to learn about shape, form, tone which will develop use of mark marking in the prints.
Children will go home with a series of prints and their drawings from the day.

Instructions

Please bring a packed lunch and morning snack (NO NUTS). We can provide drinking water and biscuits.
If the weather is OK we will go to the playground on Devane Way during lunch for a run around, please suitable clothing and coats (if needed).
We will also play games during the day and at lunch if the weather is bad.
