Pell Ensemble Masterclass (16+)

Details

A taste of Rebecca Evans and Pell Ensemble's work. Working with Rebecca and a sound engineer, in this workshop you'll get to play with wearable tech, using movement to change levels and the shape of sound.

This workshop is for dancers of all experience, teachers, dance artists, disabled and non-disabled people, anyone interested in using sound and technology to make dance and performance.

Rebecca has created digital dance experiences since 2014 in the UK and abroad. Her work uses interactive and immersive technologies combined with dance, exploring how digital and movement offer ways to appreciate our mutual dependency as part of a human, environmental and technological ecology.

Rebecca collaborates with dancers, creative technologists, sound designers, dramaturges, videographers and photographers.

Our Masterclasses are supported by Keep Moving. Keep Moving is produced by Fabric, generously supported by United by 2022, as part of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Legacy Enhancement Fund through West Midlands Combined Authority.
