RESTorative Yoga, Sound Massage & Meditation 1/2 Day Retreat With Melé & Debi 3rd March 2024

Details

Join Melé and Debi for three hours of RESTorative Yoga & Sound Healing.

Debi will guide through a somatic yoga sequence, where our intention is attention. Attention to your mind body. Working deep into fatigued muscles and joints with gentle movement designed to nourish and aid us to become more embodied—led by how you feel in your body.

This practice will be followed by RESTorative Yoga and Sound Massage - Bring Your Body Into a State of Healing. In Restorative Yoga, the combination of supportive props: bolsters, blocks, blankets, sand bags and longer holds can help bring a sense of calm and comfort that triggers our body’s healing mechanisms.

The longer held poses will allow Melé to place Tibetan Singing bowls on your body, providing a Sound Massage. The vibrations from these very special Full Moon Bowls can resonate and reverberate around your body to help enhance the flow of prana/chi, as well as release you deeper into the RESTorative poses.

Both practices can heal, soothe and restore an overtaxed nervous system and help you step more fully back into your life knowing the body has truly rested.

The session will conclude with a Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep Meditation) and Gentle Sound Bath led by Melé.

Space is limited so reserve your spot!

East Horsley (near Effingham Junction)

Please arrive 5 mins before the class.

The hall can be a bit little tricky to find as it's slightly set back off of the road, behind some trees (set amongst bungalows and houses).

Coming from Cobham on Forest Road, heading towards East Horsley,  the hall is on your right.
You will pass Mortiboy's Dental Spa on your left, once you reach a bus stop on your left, the hall is opposite, on your right.
If you reach the road on your right called The Drift (for The Drift Golf course) or the railway bridge, you have gone too far.
