Macramé is a decorative knotting craft that anyone can do with just a little bit of practice! It is a great way to create beautiful and functional pieces of art to decorate your home with vintage flair. Macramé is traditionally made with cotton or hemp rope. The ropes are tied in different knots to create beautiful knotted patterns. It was long crafted by sailors, especially in elaborate or ornamental knotting forms, to cover anything from knife handles to bottles to parts of ships. In this class, you will learn the basic knots of macramé to create your own macramé plant hanger from start to finish. All materials are included with the supply fee, as well as the plant of your choosing to take home. Get knotting with this enjoyable macramé plant hanger class.
