Massage allows a special contact between parent and child. It is a time where parents can bond with their baby and learn to recognise the babies cues, increasing communication. It can be taken home and used in their daily routine, particularly after bath and before bed, signalling bed time for the child. The sessions are design to relax both parent and baby, help with colic, digestion, pain relief, improve circulation, and aid with any skin, muscle and skeletal problems. The sessions also aim to build confidence and empower parents.
Everything will be provided from you (baby massage oil is sunflower oil) however if you wish to bring your own blanket or massage medium then you are more than welcome to bring these with you. You may also wish to bring with you a cushion to sit on.
