HAF HOLIDAY CLUB Teens - Dodgeball & Basketball Ages 10 - 16

Welcome to the Half Holiday Club at Millom Recreation Centre, featuring an action-packed session of dodgeball and basketball for teens, run by Sportivos! This holiday club session is designed to provide teens with a fun and engaging experience playing two exciting and energetic sports.

Led by skilled coaches from Sportivos, the dodgeball and basketball session for teens will offer a dynamic and challenging environment for teens to participate in. Teens will have the opportunity to play dodgeball, a fast-paced and exciting game that tests agility, reflexes, and teamwork. They will also get to showcase their basketball skills, working on shooting, passing, dribbling, and playing in friendly games and drills.

Located at the Millom Recreation Centre, our holiday club provides a safe and welcoming space for teens to enjoy sports, connect with peers, and have a memorable time during the holiday break. With the guidance of experienced coaches, teens will have the chance to improve their athletic abilities, build camaraderie with their peers, and have a blast playing dodgeball and basketball.

Does your child receive free school meals, have a SEND?, a EHCP? or are they classed as a ‘looked after child’ e.g. living in foster care ?

If so …. did you know that as part of our HAF (Holiday activities and food) project, they can book free places on our holiday club with a free meal

Lunch for all events will be a hot healthy meal

Booking codes and the link to book have been sent out to all local schools to distribute to the families that qualify for free funded places under the HAF Project, However if you haven't received a code from school and your child qualifies for a free place under any of the following categories please email staff@millomrecreationcentre.co.uk to receive your code

Families with a free school meal entitlement
Young people with a SEND (limited places)
Children looked after (e.g. Foster care) (limited places)

If your child does not fall under the above category they are still welcome to book a place and come and join the fun
