HAF HOLIDAY CLUB - Arts, Crafts, Athletics & mini Archery Ages 5-11

Welcome to the Haf Holiday Club at Millom Recreation Centre, where children ages 5-11 can enjoy a fun-filled day of arts, crafts, indoor athletics, and mini archery using plastic arrows, all run by Sportivos! This holiday club session is designed to provide a diverse and engaging experience for kids who love creativity, sports, and aiming for targets.

During the session, children will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity through various arts and crafts projects. From painting and drawing to crafting and sculpting, kids can let their imaginations run wild and create unique masterpieces to take home.

In addition to arts and crafts, children will also get to participate in indoor athletics activities, focusing on fundamental movements such as running, jumping, and throwing. This will provide a fun and active way for kids to stay active and develop their physical abilities.

To add to the excitement, children will also have the chance to try their hand at mini archery using plastic arrows. This safe and engaging activity will allow kids to practice their aim, coordination, and concentration in a fun and controlled environment.

Located at the Millom Recreation Centre, our holiday club offers a safe and inclusive environment for children to learn, play, and make new friends. Join us for a day filled with creativity, sports, and target practice at our Sportivos-run Haf Holiday Club session. Get ready to create, run, aim, and have a blast with us!

Does your child receive free school meals, have a SEND?, a EHCP? or are they classed as a ‘looked after child’ e.g. living in foster care ?

If so …. did you know that as part of our HAF (Holiday activities and food) project, they can book free places on our holiday club with a free meal

Lunch for all events will be a hot healthy meal

Booking codes and the link to book have been sent out to all local schools to distribute to the families that qualify for free funded places under the HAF Project, However if you haven't received a code from school and your child qualifies for a free place under any of the following categories please email staff@millomrecreationcentre.co.uk to receive your code

• Families with a free school meal entitlement
• Young people with a SEND
• Children looked after (e.g. Foster care)
• Young people in school that are at risk of NEET (Exclusion from school)

If your child does not fall under the above category they are still welcome to book a place and come and join the fun
