HAF HOLIDAY CLUB Teens - Cricket Ages 10 - 16

Welcome to the Hal Holiday Club at Millom Recreation Centre featuring an exciting session of indoor cricket for teens! This activity is perfect for teenagers who are passionate about cricket and want to enhance their skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Led by experienced Cumbria cricket coach David Fallows, and assisted by Jenny Fallows, and Declan Tyson, this indoor cricket session for teens will focus on honing cricket techniques such as batting, bowling, and fielding. Teens will have the opportunity to improve their game, learn new strategies, and work on teamwork and sportsmanship.

Taking place at the Millom Recreation Centre, our holiday club offers a dedicated indoor space for teens to enjoy the game of cricket. With the guidance of skilled coaches, teens will receive personalised instruction to help them elevate their cricket abilities, build confidence, and have a fantastic time playing the sport with their peers.

Does your child receive free school meals, have a SEND?, a EHCP? or are they classed as a ‘looked after child’ e.g. living in foster care ?

If so …. did you know that as part of our HAF (Holiday activities and food) project, they can book free places on our holiday club with a free meal

Lunch for all events will be a hot healthy meal

Booking codes and the link to book have been sent out to all local schools to distribute to the families that qualify for free funded places under the HAF Project, However if you haven't received a code from school and your child qualifies for a free place under any of the following categories please email staff@millomrecreationcentre.co.uk to receive your code

Families with a free school meal entitlement
Young people with a SEND (limited places)
Children looked after (e.g. Foster care) (limited places)

If your child does not fall under the above category they are still welcome to book a place and come and join the fun
