HAF HOLIDAY CLUB - Cricket Ages 5-11

Join us for a Haf Holiday Club at Millom Recreation Centre featuring an exciting session of indoor cricket! This activity is perfect for children ages 5-11 who love cricket or want to learn more about the sport in a fun and engaging environment.

Led by experienced Cumbria cricket coaches David Fallows, and assisted by Jenny Fallows, and Declan Tyson, this indoor cricket session will provide children with the opportunity to learn and practice cricket skills such as batting, bowling, and fielding. The session will focus on developing fundamental techniques, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive and inclusive setting.

Located at the Millom Recreation Centre, our holiday club offers a safe and spacious indoor space for children to enjoy the game of cricket. With the guidance of skilled coaches, children will have the chance to improve their cricket abilities, build confidence, and have a great time playing the sport with friends.

Join us for a day filled with cricket, fun, and skill-building at our Half Holiday Club at Millom Recreation Centre. Get ready to swing the bat, bowl some balls, and catch some great moments with dedicated coaches. Let's play cricket and make memories together!

Does your child receive free school meals, have a SEND?, a EHCP? or are they classed as a ‘looked after child’ e.g. living in foster care ?

If so …. did you know that as part of our HAF (Holiday activities and food) project, they can book free places on our holiday club with a free meal

Lunch for all events will be a hot healthy meal

Booking codes and the link to book have been sent out to all local schools to distribute to the families that qualify for free funded places under the HAF Project, However if you haven't received a code from school and your child qualifies for a free place under any of the following categories please email staff@millomrecreationcentre.co.uk to receive your code

• Families with a free school meal entitlement
• Young people with a SEND
• Children looked after (e.g. Foster care)
• Young people in school that are at risk of NEET (Exclusion from school)

If your child does not fall under the above category they are still welcome to book a place and come and join the fun
