ékstasis - an afternoon of longer, deeper dance & sound healing

Details

As the calendar year comes to near to closure and the period of festivities is knocking, this is an opportunity to take a little more time compared to my regular 2 hour classes and experience also the healing qualities of a Sound Bath and Yin Yoga.

Whether or not you want to come to relax after a stressful week at work, or to shake it all out and let your hair loose, or simply to move and dance to your own rhythm, longer 5Rhythms combined with sound healing and yin yoga will definitely invigorate you.

🌟Sound Healing
Sound healing has been a form of healing for 1000s of year.

It is used to calm the mind, body and soul. Tibetan Sound bowls are used in meditation practice and to relieve stress, improve sleep, stimulate the immune system and lower blood pressure.

🌟Yin Yoga is a gentle form of yoga that holds deep stretches for longer periods of time.

After a Wave of 5Rhythms you will be soothed by a gentle yin yoga practice with sound bowl healing - a wonderful form of meditation, to calm and rebalance your body, mind and spirit

🌟 5Rhythms is a dynamic movement practice—a practice of being in your body—that ignites creativity, connection, and community.

Created by Gabrielle Roth and practiced by tens of thousands worldwide, 5Rhythms® is a philosophy, perspective, performance art and a dynamic movement practice rooted in the principle that if you put the psyche in motion it will heal itself. Movement is both the medicine and the metaphor, reaching across all languages, cultures and age groups to transform suffering into art, art into awareness and awareness into action. Wherever the 5 Rhythms are practiced, a community is born to dance, to sweat, the change, to support, and to provide a safe space for each of us to shatter the ego's hold and awaken the juicy, unpredictable, fascinating, edge walking, rock-star part of ourselves that yearns to be free.

Creativity. Connection. Community.
