Trigger Point Pilates works on fascia throughout the body as well as nourishing the nervous system. It combines Pilates-style moves with myofascial principles to help release built up tension.
In each session, you will use a long foam roller and massage balls to unwind the fascia that surrounds every muscle in your body.
Fascia is the connective tissue that lays just under the surface of our skin. It is found throughout the muscular and skeletal system, connecting muscles, tendons, joints and bones.
Classes are one hour and each class will follow a series of systematic exercises. Movements are slow and gentle, yet send a powerful message to the nervous system to release and let go.
Please bring your own mat. Pilates mats are usually a little thicker than yoga mats at around 10mm thick. You may want to bring a towel or blanket to use with the foam roller to make it more comfortable.
Please wear comfy clothing suitable for a Pilates class, such as leggings or jogging bottoms and a t-shirt or sweater. Please bring water, it is important to keep hydrated.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Please note that cancellations or alterations must be made with more than 24 hours notice. Cancellations or alterations within 24 hours of a booked class will incur the full charge.
