MELT is a simple self-treatment technique that you can do at home. It is designed for anyone who wants to maintain a healthy, mobile body and can be very effective at helping you get out (and stay out) of pain.
In this 4-week foundational course, you will learn how to work with MELT therapy balls to work with your neurofascial system - your body's interconnected web of connective tissue and the nervous system.
Through simple, intentional movements and light compression, MELT helps restore the natural glide and elasticity of connective tissue, enhance body awareness, and support efficient, effortless movement.
You will receive your own set of therapy balls to keep so that you can continue to benefit from the techniques you will learn at home.
Please bring your own Pilates/Yoga mat to each week and a bottle of water.
Please wear comfy clothing suitable for an exercise class, such as leggings or jogging bottoms and a t-shirt or sweater. You will need to roll your sleeves up to access your forearms and to take socks off and work with bare feet.
Please note, this is a 4-week course and classes are not transferable.
