Details
Our a vibrant outdoor enrichment experience returns to Christ Church! Les Mains Vertes – or green hands – sessions are bilingual; delivered in both French and English. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged!
Through applying Montessori principles, children get to:
• explore their senses
• experience freedom of movement and choice
• form a lasting bond with nature
Your children can look forward to a variety of forest school activities, stories and songs, as well as get the chance to garden, in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Each week we will explore a different theme such as sowing and planting, pruning and weeding, harvesting, the role of pollinators, to diversity in ecology.
Children will gain an applied understanding of concepts such as sustainability, wildlife stewardship, and ecology. Through gardening, creating nature art, and more, your children will develop valuable skills such as:
• independence
• self-discipline
• collaboration
• communication
All this while staying physically active, socialising and nurturing their friendships!

Instructions
This is a drop-off club.
Sessions will run rain or shine. Tarpaulins and covers will be provided as needed.
Please check the weather forecast and dress children appropriately, with closed shoes and waterproof clothing. Don't forget sun protection on sunny days and extra layers as needed.
All attendees have to take any rubbish home so we recommend to avoid bringing anything disposable or with plastic packaging.
