Upbeat and cheeky, this class mixes jazz technique with commercial, musical theatre, burlesque and lyrical jazz! Classes are lively and sassy. And perfect for anyone who enjoys putting a bit of oomph in their movement! We high kick and hair flick our way through every class (and usually chuck in a shimmy for good measure)!
In this class we tend to start with a warm-up, move on to a bit of technique and travelling exercises, then go straight into learning choreography for a routine. We work on and develop the same routines over 2-3 weeks, though you can join any time as we always review material and teach a new section of the routine each week.
If you're totally new to dance classes, we'd recommend trying the beginner course on a Wednesday first.
