Blencathra once was primarily known as Saddleback. It is filled with history and made the news in 2014 when its owner put the mountain up for sale?? Now all that has settled so groups like us can enjoy the stunning views, crag and tarns this area has to offer. Everyone loves this mountain for its raw natural beauty and views of the Lake District.
It takes approximately 3-4 hours.
This event is in total 8km with stunning views all around! Once at the start of the hike, you will be led by trained mountain leaders to the summit of Blencathra.

8.00am - Pick-up - we will be stood waiting outside the National Express coach station on Chorlton Street, Manchester. Roughly 5 min walk from Piccadilly.
9.15am - Service stop for refreshments.
10.30am - We arrive at The White Horse Inn car park to begin our walk.
4pm - Depart from car park.
5pm - Service stop for refreshments.
6pm - Drop-off - Arrive back at Chorlton Street, Manchester for departure. With some great memories!
