Tween Fashion Camp - Age 10 and up - Week Long Camp!

Beehive Craft Studio’s Tween/Teen Intermediate Sewing Camp is for students who are confident operating their sewing machines, threading it on their own, and following direction. In this week long camp students will learn how to read a pattern, cut it out, make adjustments for their measurements and execute a finished garment by the end of the week. Students will also learn fun embroidery and mending techniques to adapt or mend their existing clothing.

For strong beginners/intermediate sewists.

We will taking a break and a lunch each day. Please pack a snack, a lunch and a drink with a lid.

Teachers: Kim Place & Deanna Santagata.
Kim has been teaching sewing lessons for the past 7 years. She's taught sewing camps in West Austin and Dripping Springs and is excited to be bringing workshops to Central Austin.
Deanna Santagata is an Austin native who lives in the Wells Branch area with her husband and 8 year old daughter. She has been teaching secondary social studies from grades 8-12 for the last 13 years. She currently teaches 8th grade US History at Henry Middle School in Cedar Park. Like many, Deanna picked up sewing during the pandemic and found a love for bag making and quilting. She would like to share these passions with younger learners. Instagram @dsantagata87

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 3 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o COVID Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that health conditions would make attending class dangerous for teachers and students. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.

o Mask Policy: All students are strongly encouraged to wear masks during workshop time.
o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
