Cielo Dress and Top Pattern Workshop with Channy - For Strong Beginners - Ages 17 and up

This course is for students interested in garment sewing!
You will choose one from 4 different views: A) semi-cropped top with cuffed short sleeves, B) semi-cropped top with dramatic gathered long sleeve C) dress with cuffed short sleeves and inseam pockets or D) dress with dramatic gathered long sleeve and no pockets.

Prerequisite: You must be comfortable threading a sewing machine and winding a bobbin on your own. If this is your first time making a garment, we suggest starting with View A. If you have completed a garment from a pattern before, you may do any of the options.

Length of class: 2 sessions of 3 Hrs (6 hrs total)

Bring with you to class:

• Sewing machine, if you’re not renting one of ours
• Closet Core Cielo Pattern (included in class price)
• Pre-washed fabric. See the back of the pattern for suitable fabric choices and yardage needed
• 1/4 yd lightweight non-stretch fusible interfacing
• Fabric scissors
• Paper scissors to cut pattern
• 1 spool of coordinating all-purpose thread to match fabric
• Washable marker/chalk to mark fabric
• Straight pins
• Seam ripper
• Thread snips
• Measuring tape

CLASS POLICIES
o Your spot will not be reserved in the class until payment is made in full.
o All students or their Parents/Guardians must sign a waiver before participating in class activities. This should be provided as a check box in your checkout process.
o This class has a 2 person minimum. Class may be cancelled if minimum is not met 48 hours prior to class.
o Beehive Craft Studio reserves the right to cancel a class at any time.
If we do so, you'll be issued a full refund.
o Inclement Weather Policy: We reserve the right to cancel class if we deem that weather would make traveling to class dangerous. Every attempt will be made to schedule a makeup for the missed class.
(Beehive Craft Studio follows the LTISD and Eanes ISD inclement weather policy.)
o COVID Policy: All students must be masked while inside of Beehive Craft Studio. Please do not come to class with a fever or if you are suspicious of having Covid; we will reschedule for a later date.
o No refunds for no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of workshop. Refunds will be processed online within 48 hours of cancellation with the funds going back to your method of payment.
o The studio is very small. No additional people will be allowed to stay in the classroom. We apologize for any inconvenience.
o Everyone works at different speeds and while we expect everyone to finish by the end of the workshop we can't guarantee it!
