Scent work is incredible for all dogs - any breed, any age! As long as they have a nose they can enjoy all the benefits of scent work!!
This introduction to scent work will cover all the basics to get you and your dog started on your scent work journey!
There are so many benefits to scent work detection including;

Increasing the bond between owner & dog
Learning more about your dog, how they learn, body language, motivation
Positive reinforcement training - dogs learn to love the game!

Dogs are worked one at a time, so it’s even great for reactive dogs!
Ideal activity for older dogs too who may struggle with physical activities such as agility

You’ll wish you tried scent work sooner!
This workshop will take place at our training venue on a working farm, dogs will be worked one at a time so should be comfortable waiting in your vehicle between turns.
Class is kept small max 5 dogs to ensure everyone gets plenty time to work their dogs.
Please bring with you;
Lots of high value treats (such as sausages, chicken, pate - whatever your dog loves!)
