Come along for a canoeing taster session.
This 90 minute long experience will get you out on the water and having a lot of fun! These sessions are aimed at people of aged 6 and over, all abilities welcome.
Please meet us at Durham Amatour Rowing Club at the start of the session. You will need to bring: towel, change of warm clothes and trainers you do not mind getting wet.
You will need to bring a spare pair of shoes to wear on the session, water shoes or old trainers are perfect (NO crocs, sandals or wellies)
We provide all specialist equipment - wetsuits, buoyancy aids, helmets, waterproofs and craft/paddles.

Drive down the lane and just prior to the rowing club is the entrance to a gravel car park on your right. You can park here then meet us outside the Rowing Club. Please be aware that this is a pay by phone car park and you will need to arrange payment for your own vehicle. Currently charges for this car park are; £0.80 for up to 1 hour, £1.20 for up to two hours £2.30 for up to 4 hours, £3 for up to 6 hours & £5 for up to 24 hours.
Please be aware that you are not allowed to park in the tarmac car park directly outside of the rowing club and will be issued a ticket should you park there
