Remembering Sue - a quilt-making workshop

In August 2023, Sue Ferguson died. Sue was a driving force in our early years when we set out to take Stretford Public Hall into community ownership. Her passion for the project was contagious. Sue got involved with every aspect of volunteering at Stretford Public Hall.

As part of our Dead Good Stretford festival, we are running a quilt-making workshop to commemorate our dear friend Sue. The quilt will be our way of capturing all of our memories of Sue.

The workshop is open to anyone who knew Sue, who wishes to contribute.

You do not have to be able to sew or even to help directly with the quilt-making - you can contribute by sending a message, or an image, a song lyric, or just a couple of words that you think described Sue.

The workshop is free to attend and you can drop-in at any time. Please book a free ticket, to help with the planning.
