This is a structured and progressive 7-week course in static trapeze, hoop, silks and rope for anyone with a little or no aerial experience.
We’ll work on two types of equipment each week and by the end of the course you should have a grounding in aerial skills and may have picked a favourite!
An experienced professional aerial artist will teach the course. There are only 6 spaces available in this course, although it's possible to increase numbers to 8 with two teachers, to still guarantee plenty of teacher contact time. You can click to join the waitlist if the course is fully booked.
You will learn a repertoire of tricks and moves, progressing to short sequences of moves and creating your own routines. This course will also improve your strength, flexibility, fitness.
The course will run on Tuesdays 8-9:30pm from the 2nd June - 14th July, inclusive.
Please note the course must be booked in advance of attendance. You can book for the full course or, if there is space, you can book after the course has started and attend the remaining weeks. The course price automatically deducts after each class has run.
If you want to book a course but can't make all of the dates, you may be able to catch-up in another class. Please see our Catch-up Policy, attached below.
If you are feeling unwell or have symptoms of Covid or any other contagious illness please do not attend class.
Greentop reserves the right to cancel this course with 7 days' notice in the event of it being undersubscribed. In this case your full fee will be reimbursed.
If you purchase a place on this course and subsequently find that you are unable to take it up please email leadteacher@greentop.org to let us know. We will try and resell your place in which case you will be reimbursed. Unfortunately, we will not be able to reimburse you unless we resell your place, and this is not guaranteed.
Any refund will be subject to a £2.50 fee (for refunds up to £20) or £3.50 fee (for refunds over £20) to cover bank charges.
New participants should arrive up to 15 minutes early in order to fill out a medical/ consent form.
Please wear clothing which covers your skin (including a long-sleeved top), but nothing with zips, studs etc. and no jewellery which may damage the equipment. Also ensure nails are short. If the tutors consider that you are inappropriately dressed for the activity, you may not be allowed to take part and a refund will not be offered.
