Do you love the magic of Burlesque? Have you ever dreamed of creating your very own burlesque solo act? Would you love to spend an entire day wrapped up in the magic of creation?
Then The Sapphire Secrets: Intensive Burlesque Choreography Day is most certainly for you!
A small group of likeminded lovelies will join our very own Trixie Blue for a full day dedicated to creating a burlesque solo.
Whether you’re starting completely from scratch, brimming with half-formed ideas, or just looking to polish up an existing act, this day has you covered. You’ll get one-to-one time with Trixie as well as the support of the small group, perfect for bringing your act to life.
The day will be a mixture of practical and theory based workshops, including:
✨ A brief history of burlesque and the legends who shaped it
✨ The finer details of choreography creation
✨ A stage presence masterclass to help you shine
✨ The admin side of act creation
✨ Burlesque costume
✨ Its SHOWTIME! A section of the day for everyone to be able to perform what they have created

When the day comes to a close, Trixie will invite you to apply for her fabulous local showcase for local superstars, The Periwinkle Pussycat*. With your intensive training under your belt, you’ll be more than ready to hit that stage!
Taught by Trixie Blue, professional burlesque performer, PGCE qualified teacher and professional choreographer (with 30+years experience for creating solos/group acts) who upholds our ethos of accessible and inclusive burlesque, you shall be sure to develop your new skills in a supportive atmosphere.

Prerequisites:
Bring a song you’d like to potentially use (around 3.30/4mins ish)
or
Choose from Trixie’s song collection (mind that is mostly Slipknot hahah).
Arrive with an open mind and a willingness to learn!
