Joanne’s Freedom to Flow workshop explores yoga through the lens of strength and mobility. You will delve into the anatomy of yoga and explore how traditional yoga postures relate to functional movement for modern day living. Purposeful movement will allow you to deeply connect with the physical body creating space to quieten the mind and develop inner focus.
About Joanne
Joanne has been a doctor in the NHS for over 20 years and has a busy career in hospital medicine. Teaching yoga gives her the opportunity to help people improve their health and wellbeing in a more holistic way. There is growing evidence that movement and physical activity are beneficial for so many physical and mental health conditions. Any movement is good for you and yoga provides the space to do it!
Her style of yoga is very much underpinned by her knowledge of the physical body and anatomy but she loves creating flowing vinyasa classes. Classes that not only allow you to feel strong in your body but also allow you to develop strength and resilience in the mind.
