Classic Welsh Ridges Week | North Wales Scrambling Course (Grade 1–3)

Join our low ratio 5-day North Wales scrambling course and experience the very best Welsh ridges and classic scrambling routes in the mountains of Snowdonia (Eryri). Designed for hillwalkers looking to progress into technical mountain terrain, this immersive scrambling week in North Wales takes you from Grade 1 scrambling through to more advanced Grade 3 scrambling routes, building confidence, movement skills, ropework skills and route reading along the way.

Based in the heart of Eryri (snowdonia) National Park his course develops your ability to move effeciently and safely over steep, rocky and exposed mountain terrain. This course is also ideal preparation for those with bigger mountaineering objectives such as The Alps or the Greater Ranges.

Routes we may do include: Tryfan North Ridge, Crib Goch, Bristly Ridge, Y Gribin Ridge, Cneifion arête, Idwal Buttress, East Ridge of Y Garn, Notch arête, Bastow Buttress, Nor Nor Buttress, Atlantic Slab, Sentries Ridge and Dolmen Ridge.
