Chain Making Course: ID Bracelet

Learn the art of crafting hand made chain.

On this course we teach the process behind making two popular chain styles: the classic curb chain and the elegant foxtail chain. You will be guided through the essential techniques and tools needed to create these beautiful chains.

Once you’ve mastered the basics, you'll apply your skills to design and create an ID-style bracelet. The central panel of the bracelet offers an opportunity for individual creativity, allowing each student to design and craft their own distinctive piece. Explore a variety of techniques to enhance your panel, including textures, etching, articulated stone settings, single large stone settings, flush setting, pierced designs, and the use of mixed metals.

Materials

Course fees include solder and saw blades. Metals, findings and a variety of stones are available for purchase at the school.
