🌼🐔 Celebrate Spring with us on the farm!
Come for a walk around our farm and see if you can find all the places our little chickens have chosen to make their homes! Follow the trail, explore the farm, and once you’ve finished, stay for some playtime and spring activities, with a warm drink and a tasty snack. Our brilliant forest school leaders from will also be there, helping children toast tasty treats on the firepit.
We estimate the trail and activities will take around an hour to complete, but you’re very welcome to stay longer and enjoy the farm at your own pace.
There will also be a tour of the farm with one of our growers at 11am, that you are welcome to join.
This is a fundraising event to support our work on the farm and with children and families. All money spent on refreshments will go directly towards this work — we truly appreciate your support.

Health and Safety - Children are the responsibility of their parents and carers at all time. Please support them when participating in activities and also when moving around on the farm - it is a working farm and there maybe tools and machinery in places, please keep to the designated walkways.
Access - You access the farm by turning off the A65 at Ready Steady Store. You will see a path down to the river which leads to the farm entrance.
Parking - There is NO PARKING at the farm. If possible, please walk to the farm. If you need to drive, you will find free parking on the streets on the opposite side of the A65. Please get in touch before the event if you need accessible parking email: kirsty.ward@kvdt.org.uk
On-site
Kirkstall Valley Farm is a working farm with uneven, muddy ground and often windy weather. Please come dressed in appropriate clothing and footwear.
There is currently no disabled access or baby changing facilities at the farm.
Drinking water is available but we ask that you bring your own water bottles.
Please note: If we are unfortunate to have very bad weather and have to cancel this event, you will be notified by email and given a full refund.
