An interdisciplinary performance by Antonio Bukhar Ssebuuma, curated in collaboration with Courtney Spencer.
Experience an immersive blend of dance, film, and a visual art installation, brining to life the story of the Mutuba tree, whose bark is used to create the culturally significant Lubugo cloth. Join us for an emotionally powerful experience that bridges tradition and contemporary expression, followed by a post-show audience interaction.
Antonio Bukhar Ssebuuma is a Ugandan artist and lecturer at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance.
Courtney Spencer is an Australian artist, curator and collaborator who has been based in Yorkshire since 2005.
