We’ll begin by exploring ways of moving safely towards and through the floor, and how falling can become part of the dance.
We’ll also explore maintaining our own boundaries within contact — practising how to say “no” while staying connected to the movement and responding creatively.
From there, we’ll bring attention to balance, breath and the subtle signals of the body. Through partner work, we’ll explore softening enough to sense another person’s movement and presence, allowing that information to influence our own movement.
